The same vehicle may cost up to $70.00 a day during Christmas(high peak). Bigger 6 berth motorhomes may cost $70.00 a day in May and $240.00 a day during Christmas.
What are the low peak and high peak season to hire a campervan in Adelaide?
Rates are lowest during May – October for winter. Demands will go up as the weather gets better in Spring during November to April. We experience the highest demand during Christmas, New Year, Easter or any long weekend and school holidays.
What is the minimum age to hire a campervan in Adelaide?
Generally, the requirement is 21 years old with a full driver’s license. We also have a few budget campers that can be rented by drivers 18 and above. These vehicles will show (18+) at the end of their names.

Yes, you can hire a campervan with an overseas full driver’s license. If your driver’s license is not in English, it must be accompanied with an International Driver’s Permit or an accredited English Translation.
How much is the bond for hiring a campervan in Adelaide?
This depends on the vehicle you hire as the insurance cover for each vehicle is different. Generally, we have two packages for all vehicles – “Standard and Inclusive”. With the Standard Package, the rates are lower but the vehicle damage liability is higher ($3000 - $8000) depending on vehicle. This amount is required to be paid on pick-up as a security bond and is refundable when the vehicle is return undamaged. In an event of an accident this will be the maximum amount you are liable for. With the Inclusive Package, the rates are higher but you get more insurance coverage. The liability is reduced to $0.00 for 2WD vehicles and $500.00 for 4WD campers. The bond for a 2WD camper is only a pre-authorisation of your credit card. The bond for a 4WD camper would be $500.00 and is refundable when the vehicle is return undamaged.
Can I park my car at the depot when I pick-up my campervan in Adelaide?
Unfortunately most parking spaces will be taken up by rental vehicles. It is best to use the public transport or get friends or family to drop you at the branch.
