Lygon Street – Little Italy
Carlton and in particular Lygon Street is the traditional home of Italian cuisine and one of the main cafe and restaurant areas in Melbourne. Study the coffee grounds to glimpse the beginnings of the city's café culture, and fill up on steaming bowls of pasta, pizza and delicious gelati.
